okay, so I had decided on going to bed early (at 10 ct), so I looked for my phone so I could set my alarm (I'd rather wake up to a song than a blaring ANNNNN!). I go to the bag where my phone was, and it wasn't there. I turned my room upside down... still no phone... looked in mom's car... still no phone. I told my mom and she told me to look in my room and in the car, like I hadn't done that before I asked her. So, we both go through those places again. Now it's like 10:20. I go up to Lindsey and asks if she'll go on a fieldtrip with me so 10 min later we are at my school. I looked everywhere near "the tree" --place where I wait to be picked up-- and got tired of looking so I asked Lindsey to try calling it again. Suddenly we hear a very light "I wanna be a producer...". Lindsey goes into the street and pulls my phone out of the gutter. Ew. I get home, very relieved, only to realize that it's now 11 and I have an AP Calculus test tomorrow!

band-o-rama
band-o-rama was last night. This is an event where every high school in the county gets together and does their halftime show (doc said to get one show under our feet before our first game- which is friday!). I dropped twice on my own and I dropped the baton that Lauren was supposed to throw to me. She missed me and it went down the field. Oh well.... better luck next friday at our first game!

Forever and a day
The long week of band camp is over. We have most of the show on the field. Well, all of it except the second 1/2 of Bohemian. Each day was a spirit dress up day for flags and majorettes. We had tacky day, twin day (for some reason I always seem to be twins with a girl named Lauren!), bash opelika day (wore shirts that said "OHS MAJORETTE- We wish we could twirl", messed up our hair, and had fake black eyes), and 80s day. They were fun. The rest of the band was confused and made fun of us alot... oh well.
I got my schedule and parking space, both of which are fine. My schedule is very well spaced out with hard classes vs. easy ones. I'm excited!
