short vacay

• man... five days off of school is awesome... but it also helps me relize how lame my life is. I have watched lots of movies (starz and hbo rock) and, well, that's about it..

• We did continue one of our few traditions. That being the day (or, in this case, the day after the day) after thanksgiving we put up the tree, make slice-n-bake cookies, and drink egg-nog. YuM!

• I had pizza for lunch... i totally did not burn it a bit

• I got all my Christmas shopping done. I always try to be done by the end of November... But I'm totally done! My mom and dad know everything I bought, including their own stuff. Mainly cause they're sooooooo hard to shop for

• I know what Codi got me. Dad was like "What should Codi get you?" I said, "French vanilla cookie things (name escapes me right now!)." He said all right and I heard him whisper to Codi that I wanted chocolate cookies. I whispered across the aisle that I wanted French vanilla. He goes "right!" and they set off. Five paces later, he turns and says, "Kerri, I forgot what you said!" I was like, "Do you just want me to come with you?" He said, "That'd be great." So I actually handed Codi the cookies.
  

chatt visit

I got to go to chatt for this past 3 day weekend. I actually left 3rd block thursday and came back saturday. My little run down:

• thursday
• got out of band early
• personal pan pizza from pizzahut to go for lunch
• looooooong car drive
• dinner at big river grill
• hotel (watched Alias... YES!)
• friday
• went to museum, talked to ppl, saw that they still have the red map shirt... i pitty those poor souls
• had cookies-n-cream milkshake and cheezy fries at steak-n-shake
  
• went to Kohls, got some totally awesome clothes
• got to spend time with Kendall at the mall
• this makes me really happy!
• she is sooooo sweet... and soooo stubborn
• yay! We're bullet happy!
• had Famous Daves.... had a refill on my drink (lauren should know that that means I was very thirsty!)
• went to media play and got Lindsey an awesome christmas present! (as well as a book for moi!)
  
• hung out at barnes and noble for an hourish (l -heart- bookstores!)
• sat
• kohls shopping trip again.... not sure why
• fuddruckers for lunch... yummy, yum, yum!
• got home in time for georgia vs. auburn fb game
  
• my dad ordered food from some icky wings place which made the whole house smell odd. (I was going to use the word "funny", but "odd" fits better)
• watched some alias s.2 that lindsey got me for my b-day... 2 more discs to go!
  

2 much fun

I had so much fun at baton today. I got a trick early and got to work on a harder one. Then we worked on some awesome partnerswaps. I was happy that this happened as I got wires today. I also got a shot today. I have a really delayed reaction to shots. About 5 hours later, I yelled, "Ouch!" My mom thought it was funny.

Last game ever.... (for this season at least!)

We lost our playoff game... so it was our last game of the season. I took mazing bars to the game for the flutes... yum! Kim and I were so hyper, if there had been walls we'd've been bouncing off them. Good Story: We are all jumping up and down screaming, and Samatha grabs my leg (so I can't move) and yells "Stop it!" I yanked my foot out of her reach it yelled " Don't touch my leg! That's a bad touch!" (those who go to my church might get that a little better. we had a good touch vs. bad touch lesson last week. I mean come on, do they think we're six?) The ride back was uneventful. I crashed and slept. went shopping on sat morning then babysat all night for $30. Oh! and i totally bought sisterhood of the traveling pants today. i love that movie. I promise to post pics of our show as soon as I can find my mom's camera. It's missing right now! hugs and kisses!

last home game...*tear

it's sad.... we won, of course, but most of our seniors were crying. The flutes gave ours a bracelet and some other stuff... and our section leader gave us all goodbye cards and roses! :( Awww... I'll miss Sarah. She is so awesome (but she does go to my church, so i can see her there!)....
we did make the playoffs, so we have a game next week... hope we win!

Rained out... no, we weren't

Friday was our homecoming game. It rained, it poured, and the raindrops were not lemondrops of gumdrops. Shame. Anyways, flutes + Elizabeth met at Panera Bread and we had cake and ice-cream for dessert. Then we piled up and went to the game. Upon five min. of arriving, Doc announced that all woodwinds were to put their horns in thier car or in a random person's car. I did the second. They also passed out ponchos... and oh did we look snazzy. It rained & rained & rained... Since no woodwinds were playing, we got to dance and cheer along with every song. We had a blast! YAY!

my birthday!

Today is my birthday!
I spent a good two hours at the dmv this morning,
but I got my lincense!
YAY!
Then I had an ortho appointment, where he put icky stuff in my teeth to make molds...
but I got to go to Jim Bob's for lunch!
When I arrived at school, it was 3rd block,
my 3rd block teacher walked past me...
I thought this was weird.
Turns out, I got there 3rd lunch wave,
which is when I eat on white days.
I found my buddies and got lotsa hugs!
Euro came next,
to which I totally took cupcakes.
They were yummy!
homecoming activity today: Talent show... it was pretty good
homecoming (scratch that) my parade: cancelled :(
that's ok though

Alias comes on tonight...
can't wait for that
